Space Futures 2000, organized by the Australian Students Space Association Conference, will be held in Canberra from October 5-7. This is a major youth space conference with speakers from around the world. The

Australia. This will include events featuring live and recorded video of Australian-born astronaut Andy Thomas.
The Australian Space Research Institute will conduct its annual Small Sounding Rocket launch campaign at Woomera between Sept 30 and Oct. 1. The firings are open for the public
and the winners of the annual Space Endeavour Competition are guests at the launches.
The 'Lost in Space' children's exhibit coincides with World Space Week. It has a range of education and public programs associated with it.
