Barry Riehle

To culminate our study of free fall my students were required to do an activity that included air resistance. They were required to protect a sensitive package (an egg) by devising a two-parachute system that needed to deploy on its own without explosives. It was thrown from a 10-m tall building. There was a mass limit (100 g plus the egg). Several pictures are included of the successes and failures.
