World Space Week Plans World Space Week was celebrated across Brazil. Click here for a Power Point presentation by INPE about World Space Week 2004. On October 5, there was a World Space Week celebration for grammar and high school teachers at INPE in Sao Jose dos Campos. On October 8, in the south of Brazil, the UNISINOS University celebrated World Space Week. There was a celebration, conference and exposition in the Norteast region, in Teresenia, for school teachers all week Macae, in the Southeast region, had an exposition and radio and TV programs. The Louis Cruls Astronomy Club prepared posters about the World Space Week and put them in many schools of our city and in the schools of our region. The club used TV programs to popularize World Space Week and to motivate the organization of events in the schools. It planned to organize a contest and to reward the best works prepared by the students. The club visited schools and also planned an exhibition on the theme of the 2004 World Space Week. |
