World Space Week 2006 Report
Bulgaria celebrated World Space Week 2006 with the following programs:
- Opening of the World Space Week in the Astronomical Observatories and Planetariums in Bulgaria-cosmic shows in the Planetariums
- Kinderparty: the children participated in a celestial voyage in the planetarium, made paper rockets and participated in competition for space
pictures. The young participants were dressed like, robots, extra-terrestrials, astronauts.
- Exhibition-contest of space pictures made by children in the alley of Cosmonauts in the Maritime Garden
- Teacher training workshop on space
- Students debates on space
- Star seances in the Planetarium in Varna: Star travelers
- A series of lectures in astronautics were made in the Planetarium in Varna
- Observations of the planet Venus and the Sun for students and teachers were conducted during the week.
