World Space Week 2001 Plans & Report
Unidad Porteña de Aprendizaje (UPA) -- Besides their classroom activities, kindergarten and primary students at UPA will develop the program below during World
Space Week 2001:
- October 4th - Opening ceremony: Space art day "Inspiration form space"
- October 5th – Workshop: Traveling through the Solar System
- October 8th – Video-Forum: The Sun: a giving life star (with the Mexican astronaut Rodolfo Neri Vela)
- October 9th – Contest: Designing a space aircraft
- October 10th – Closing ceremony: * Workshop : "Living in space"

Colegio Alemán -- 'Discovery', the astronomy club at Colegio Aleman will celebrate SpaceWeek 2001 with these activities:
- October 4th : - Opening ceremony. Debate: Our expectations Designing a rocket with recycling materials
- October 5th : - Lecture: Space ships through the technological race. Simulating meteoroids impacts. Debate: Anybody out there? –UFO-
- October 6th : - Visiting Voz Infantil and Hola Juventud radio programs to report Space Week calendar of activities in our institute. Space art day "Inspiration form space"
- October 8th - Video-Forum : To be an astronaut
- October 9th - Workshop : Solar power. Contest : Basic knowledge about astronomy and space technology

VOZ INFANTIL and HOLA JUVENTUD –WYESR Colombia- will give the opportunity to all the institutions in our country that celebrate SpaceWeek 2001 to
participate in our radio programs dedicated to space technology at La Voz De La Costa -a local radio station- every Saturday in October (9 to 11 a.m.). In this way, all together will extend an invitation to the
audience, so "Inspiration from space" will catch them, too.
