9:00 a.m. Opening ceremony "Space and sustainable development"

In this special day youngsters from different schools in Barranquilla will think about the space and its contribution to humankind. A video and a lecture coordinated by Mr. Guillermo Lagares, Enviromental Comision of UNILEVER in Colombia will help to reach this goal.

October 6th

9:00 a.m. "Children talk about Enviroment"

This activity pretends to gather children between 7 and 13 years old from different schools in Barranquilla, to talk about their experiences and what they think about sustainable development and enviromental care.

October 8th

9:00 a.m. Video-Conference with Members of NASA

This will be a wonderful opportunity for students from different schools at the Atlantic Coast of Colombia to ask members of NASA in Houston -USA about all those interesting topics related to sustainable development. In Houston this activity is coordinated by Captain (R) Luis Enrique Rodriguez - Director of WYESR and Member of Muniz Engineering.

Also, Mr. Raul Joya Olarte, Director of the Red de Astronomia en Colombia will give a lecture to students in Barranquilla.

October 9th

9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Special Radio Program "World Space Week, 5th anniversary"

As it has been during these last 5 years, Voz Infantil and Hola Juventud, radio programs broadcasted by youngsters through La Voz de la Costa Radio Station 1.190 KHz, are planning a special program for this WSW. With interviews, history details, guests and a complete report about WSW 5th anniversary, Colombia closes WSW-04 celebration
