World Space Week 2003 Report
The Danish contribution to World Space Week 2003 consisted of more than 120 single activities targeting a broad audience. Among the activities were: a one week space exhibition at the
Copenhagen Central Central Station, distribution of 10.000 copies of the campaign newspaper, a daily programme: "Microgravital play" performed at each of the three local planetariums throughout the week, free daily
spacefilm shows, school activities building Mars Habitats or planning manned spaceflights to Mars, Open House
arrangement at the Danish Space Research Institute and more than 20 public lectures concerning the WSW theme, covering: psychological or physiological problems in long-term spaceflight,
media and space, planetary and astrobiological issues and science fiction in literature. World Space Week 2003 in Denmark was organised by the National WSW initiative, supported by funds from The Danish Ministry of
Science, Technology and Innovation. The Initiative consisting of 10 national organisations and institutions: The Danish Space Research Institute, The planetariums in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Jels, The Danish Science
