To encourage teachers and students to participate in World Space Week, we have again approached sponsors to provide $500 teacher grants for the most creative use of space in the classroom during World Space Week 2008!

How to Qualify: Use space creatively in the classroom during World Space Week, October 4-10.

How to Apply: Photographs, student projects, media clippings and any other multimedia/scanned documentation should be emailed to teacheraward@worldspaceweek.org. Please mention your name, school, age of your students, city, country and phone number.

Selection Criteria:

Quality of documentation (photos and video are encouraged)
Teacher creativity in using space to teach academics
Usability of the materials for future World Space Weeks
Quantity and quality of student impacts
Impact on the school, parents and the local community
