Event Description:  World Space Week Workshop/Seminar Murrayville Library, Thursday, October 6, 2016, 6:30 p.m. Participants must be 16 years old or older. World Space week is sponsored by the World Space Week Association. It is an annual event begun in 1999. In part it is meant to commemorate the launch of Yuri Gagarin on October 4, 1961. For more information go to http://www.worldspaceweek.org/ This seminar/workshop will present information about human spaceflight history, and the future of human spaceflight. It will be interactive and participants will be expected to participate in their learning. The seminar/workshop will be limited to fifteen participants. A waiting list will be available if necessary. Under clear skies and good viewing, telescopes may be available for participants to use. Those interested in participating may register at the Murrayville branch of the Hall County Library system.
