| Event Description: | During the world space week, the Israeli Space Agency (ISA) which operates under the auspices of the Israeli Ministry of Science, Technology and Space, are having a series of lectures on space subjects, focusing on remote sensing. The lectures will take place in bars and pubs across the country, and are open to the public with no cost. Yevgeny Tsodikovich is a PhD student at Tel Aviv University which focuses on the study of game theory and have a Masters degree in astrophysics. Yevgeny is a graduate and a lecturer in the summer program of the International Space University (ISU), and a representative of the Advisory Committee of the Space Generation (SGAC) in Israel. Yevgeny will talk about the efforts to find life outside our planet, or even outside our solar system, find out how to discover planets outside our solar system and what can we learn about them. The lecture will start at 20:30, and will last for an hour. |
