| Event Description: | During the world space week, the Israeli Space Agency (ISA) which operates under the auspices of the Israeli Ministry of Science, Technology and Space, are having a series of lectures on space subjects, focusing on remote sensing. The lectures will take place in bars and pubs across the country, and are open to the public with no cost. Doctor Shimrit Maman is a staff member in Ben Gurion University and the director of the remote sensing and planetary simulation laboratory. Dr. Shimrit will talk about popular geoscience issues that are investigated from the space - remote sensing. The lecture will start at 20:00, and will last for an hour. |
