| Event Description: | During the world space week, the Israeli Space Agency (ISA) which operates under the auspices of the Israeli Ministry of Science, Technology and Space, are having a series of lectures on space subjects, focusing on remote sensing. The lectures will take place in bars and pubs across the country, and are open to the public with no cost. Doctor igal Kronhaos is astaff member of the Faculty of Aerospace at the Technion. Dr. Igal will talk about the development of modern space exploration, from visionaries idea and amateur associations to the recognition of the scientific community. Dr Igal will discuss the Motives for space research then and now, its contribution to the modern way of life and our future on this planet which is our home - for now. The lecture will start at 20:00, and will last for an hour. |
