| Event Name: | Astrophoto Meeting 2007 |
| Event Description: | Being held fifty years after the list-off of the legendary soviet satellite Sputnic-1, the meeting shall provide an overview of the historical event and current missions. On the second part of the meeting,photographic and astronomical image processing techniques will be discussed. During October a stunning collection of astrophotographs taken over the past few years by Hungarian amateurs can be seen at the exhibition area of the Obuda Community Center. The Meeting will take place on 6 October 2007 at the Obuda Community Center during World Space Week, 4-10 October 2007. The session will be held from 10am to 4 pm. The whole meeting will be broadcasted online over the internet at http://polaris.mcse.hu/aktualis/polarisTV The language of the meeting is Hungarian. |
