| Event Description: | This week long celebration will be open and free for all. The theme for this year is very interesting for general public. The institute "Vedhshala" is only one of its kind in the city where Astronomy & Space Science is taught by Tanmaye Vyas free to all walks of citizens. Schools and colleges are invited to visit exhibits, films, multi-media sessions by amateurs and Tanmaye Vyas. |

| Report on the Results: | The world space week celebration is one of the most happening event in Ahmedabad. I am celebrating this as a public event since, 2009. This year too, nearly 600 people visited the place called Vedhshala (Astronomical Observatory). The celebration was every evening from 5 to 10 pm. From 5 years old kid to 80 years old all enjoyed different daily sessions. The sessions covered Sunspot observations, Lunar & Saturn observation, naked eye observation. Along with this, an exhibition with astronomical jigsaw puzzle, multi-media presentations by Tanmaye Vyas as well students of schools, graduate and post graduate. |
