| Event Description: | Star Party at University of Indonesia will be held on Saturday, 7th of October 2017, 15:00 to 21:00, at Rotunda Court, University of Indonesia. The event consists of a public lecture in the afternoon which will be followed by an observation of the sky (the moon would be the clearest object at this time) in the evening. Snacks and a number of telescopes will be provided (five telescopes or more). Our guests speakers at the public lecture are Mr. Chatief Kunjaya of Bandung Institute of Technology and Mr. Widya Sawitar of Jakarta Planetarium. Finally, we will be working together with Jakarta Amateur Astronomy Community (Himpunan Astronomi Amatir Jakarta a.k.a. HAAJ ) @ https://twitter.com/haaj84 PS: This is our Department of Physics' annual event and has been held since 2010 alongside Pesta Rakyat Fisika. |
