| Event Name: | World Space Day 2017 |
| Event Description: | One day event, when we will celebrate the progress in space research and the role of Poland in space. We will start with mobile planetarium and a virtual trip to biggest radio astronomy observatory in Poland (in Piwnice, near Toruń). Presentations given by ESA researchers, ESERO members, professional astronomers and polish space sector speakers will be held. We will have discussion with one of the initiators of the project: Habitat Lunares, which is a simulated space base. It’s the only object of its kind in Europe, where conditions of the future base on the Moon or Mars are simulated. We are inviting everyone to join us for night sky observations using our telescopes in the observatory. The event will start at 18:00. |
