| Event Description: | We invite you to come to the 2017 spectacular co-hosted October 7th World Space Week event! We wish to inspire your wonder so that we share our curiosity about 'other worlds.' We wish to lift eachother up and let others help us fly into uncharted territory! As with all YN events, you are welcome to come as you are or in your favorite space chic! Yuri's Night, Columbia Memorial Space Center, The Planetary Society, Spaceport LA, and Cosmic Brewery are all collaborating to give our large community an evening of interactive science, a dash of theater, a professionally hosted star party with telescopes, specialized space themed brews of both beer and non alcoholic concoctions with both vegan and omnivore food options from the delicious pop up kitchen called "That Mexican Guy." Since its United Nations declaration in 1999, World Space Week has grown into the largest public space event on Earth. More than 2,700 events in 86 countries celebrated the benefits of space and excitement about space exploration. WSW is a Global celebration! This is a community powered event!
