Event Description:  STEAM COFFIN: CAPTAIN MOSES ROGERS & THE STEAMSHIP SAVANNAH - OCTOBER 10, 2018 WITH JOHN BUSCH Our next dinner lecture will occur October 10 at the Abita Brewery Visitor Center and Tap Room, located at 166 Barbee Road, Covington, LA 70433. Historian John Laurence Busch will discuss the first crossing of the Atlantic Ocean by steamship with a presentation based upon his book “Steam Coffin: Captain Moses Rogers & the Steamship Savannah”. The event will include a tour of the brewery at 4:45 p.m., followed by Mr. Busch’s presentation at 6:15 p.m. Participation is free to AIAA student members and $10 for AIAA members and their guests.
