| Event Description: | Festival of Lights on 6th October 2018 focuses on light and light based technologies. It creates a platform to meet and share one's knowledge and experience working with light. The festival studies the essence of light from the scientific and artistic perspective. |

| Report on the Results: | Festival had area for science, including space science, for arts and for fire. In the science area we had partners such Tartu Observatory, Captain Corrosion, Tartu University Photonics club, Theater Lights introduction workshop, LEDtechnology exhibition and music band Oopus playing music inspired by the Space. At the arts area we had a 300m walk through performance "Nations of Space" with 4 scenes which included opera singer and 20 dancers. At the fire area we introduced the work of blacksmith, talked about fire safety together with local firemen. We also had a big fire. |
