Event Description:  Airbus Foundation Discovery Space is hosting an exclusive event on Saturday 6th October 2018 to celebrate World Space Week! This one-off event has limited spaces and is bookable on a first come, first served basis! For the first time since its open day, the centre is opening its doors to a number of lucky individuals. Whilst here, you will have the opportunity to explore all of our exciting exhibits, see our “Stories Amongst the Stars” Science show, and have the once in a lifetime opportunity to see the latest prototype of the ExoMars rover! Those of you who are first through the doors will have the chance to create Slime to Go – We use simple household materials to make a brilliantly rubbery polymer. This activity is great fun and provides a versatile take home product which can be used in further science experiments. Programme a Mini Mars Rover! – A great teamwork activity using both maths, and IT skills. Using Lego Mindstorms, families can learn to programme a mini Mars Rover to complete set challenges.
