Report on the Results:
In celebrating the World Space Week for 2010, the Copperbelt University organised a seminar to train trainers in the area of astronomy. The seminar was attended by science coordinators from all provinces of Zambia. It was officiated by Prof. Frank Tailoka who represented the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the Copperbelt University, Prof. J. Tembo. At the end of the seminar, provincial representaives were able to take telescopes donated to schools in their respective provinces. The country had earlier received a donation of 275 Galileo telescopes from the International Astronomical Union through the Developing Astronomy Globally cornerstone project of the International Year of Astronomy 2009
