Event Name:  International Observe the Moon Night
Event Description:  From 7:30-9:30PM volunteer telescopes will be setup to observe the Moon and other interesting targets including Jupiter, target for the recently launched JUNO mission. The Middle Tennessee Space Society will exhibit solar system globes including a single 11' hemispherical Jupiter with the 4 Galilean moons. Models of Apollo LM, CSM, Lunar Rover, Saturn V, and imagineered 2025 Moon Base I and 2050 Moon Base II will also be displayed. Moon maps will also be distributed.
