Event Name:  CAT Telescope Night
Event Description:  The school community is invited to observe the beautiful night sky with telescopes and guidance from Grupo Astronómico Gómez Palacio. October 8, from 7:30-10:00pm. Amateurs in astronomy will set up their own telescopes, school telescope and binoculars to focus on different space objects and explain to visitors.

Report on the Results:  More than 200 people of all ages enjoyed observing the moon, Jupiter and 4 of its moons and Saturn using 7 different telescopes and binoculars. Constellations were explained with a laser beam. Everyone enjoyed it!
