Report on the Results:	On October 13, Bruce Gagnon, Coordinator of the Global Network Against Weapons and Nuclear Power in Space, was invited to speak about the weaponization of space to a group called PeaceLinks in Primghar, Iowa. Primghar has a population of 891. Forty people showed up for a lively discussion of the ways in which space satelites are used to conduct war today; about US imperialism; about the U.S.'s permanent war economy given our dependence on weapons sales as our number one industrial export. Bruce discussed the need to convert from a permanent war economy to a peace economy, investing in businesses that create alternatives to US dependence on oil for energy. Bruce envisioned businesses throught the country building windmills, solar panels, and creating alternative forms of clean energy. The group engaged in a lively discussion about the issues.
