| Event Description: | A workshop aiming at guiding locals who have an interest in visual astronomy but lack the basic knowledge, and do not know how or where to start with. In this event which's made free to the public,Eyad S.Khailany, the NC for WSW in Iraq and Head of AOYA will be giving a presentation to novice enthusiasts to help them learn the necessary basics of observing the night sky. |

| Report on the Results: | The event was an unexpected success and we have achieved the main goals. In a nation were it's not easily applicable for enthusiasts to obtain a telescope, our efforts have showed the energetic youths that they do not require a scope to dip into the world of astronomy and enjoy the observation. We have taught the basics of observational astronomy and the use of free starmaps. Our efforts have successfully helped them understand that learning astronomy and sharing it with friends and family members are a noble goal and is therefore within their reach with a super low budget only. |
