Report on the Results: | We began our presentation with a brief history of mars exploration, a journey from 1970 with some failed projects, to reach the extremely successful Mars Surveyor program. Then it followed with the female twins (yes, the scientist recognize the robots as girls) Spirit and Opportunity to reach the Mars Science Laboratory Curiosity. Here we gave informative details of his (Curiosity rover is call as male) anatomy, the adventure of his landing, and his actual mission. Then we focus on how Mars could be Terraformed to develop a planet more suitable for human life, in this aspect the Mars One project was centered of the debate because of his principles of how is going to elect people for the journey: a reality show to engage the audience, funding and everything else. The public was satisfied and happy to entered in the "ask us anything" section for debate. We want to thanks to the people of Cafelibro, specially Gonzalo Proano for his support with the space for this presentation. Also to "Instituto Espacial Ecuatoriao" and "Universidad San Francisco de Quito" for helping with the management of this event. |
