| Event Description: | The weekend of October 5th and 6th we will organize an "Astronomy Party" in the fields of "Pirámides de Cochasquí", an ancient-archeological landscape built along the 850 BC and 1550 AC. In this event we will recognize constellations and stars that held exoplanets in their orbits. Almost at dawn, the "grand finalle" with telescopic observation of the red planet. |

| Report on the Results: | In a collaborative work with the "Instituto Espacial Ecuatoriano", the archeological and camping complex "Camping Cochasquí", the celtic music band "Druida Ensamble Celta", and the clear skies between 19:00 and 21:30, we manage to develop an amazing astronomical experience. We manage to gather around 55 people and engage with them in handicraft methods to watch the skies. Also, the Quinto Pilar's refractory telescope, named Atomos" was very helpfull to watch the center of the milky way and stars clusters. After the clouds won the night, we gave a lecture about exoplanets and how the scientists managed to find them. The real party began with the presentation of the musicians where the people danced around the campfire until dawn where Jupiter said goodbye to all the attendants before sunrise. |
