We will be doing some Solar Observing in both white light and hydrogen alpha (weather permitting). So if you’ve never seen the Sun through a telescope, now is your chance. Remember : Never look at the Sun through a telescope unless it is specifically designed for this purpose or it has been fitted with a suitable Solar Filter. There will be a chance to view and buy our new calendar. You can take a tour of the observatory and have a look at the 7th largest public telescope in the UK. Why not take a virtual tour of the Universe on the large screen using our Universe Sandbox software. |
