| Report on the Results: | The grand old lady of Tartu Observatory Mare Ruusalepp has been working in the observatory for over 50 years. She also runs the NGO Stellaarium in Tõravere, Estonia, which supports the school education of natural sciences and science communication. She has been awarded several prizes for long-standing and systematic science communication. Her tours are always very vibrant and full of knowledge with a mix of everyday life and astronomy. She is a true example of how to lead young people (and also adults) to research and technology, create and maintain their interest in space. |
