| Event Description: | Menziehill Community Star-gazing Evening Free Family Star-gazing Evening Thursday 10th October 2013 Evening 6.30pm-9pm, Menzieshill Community Centre Join us for a free star-gazing evening to celebrate World Space Week at Menzieshill Community Centre. We’ll have special guests, demonstrations and the chance to explore the night sky. Meet members of the Dundee Astronomical Society who will teach you how observe the night sky through telescopes, get the chance to ask them all your astronomy questions, and be inspired by their images and research on the aurora. Dundee Science Centre’s Science Learning team will be running activities exploring the composition of comets and discover more about the universe through exciting demonstrations. This event is open to the whole community, whether you’re a group or a family fascinated by space come along and Explore your Universe.
