| Event Description: | After working on this interdisciplinary educational project for over a year, twenty students in the school will communicate directly with the astronauts of the International Space Station. They ask their questions live (in English. Event will be broadcast live on the big screen. Objective of this project is to educate students to the challenges of the international space station ISS, both scientific and sociological and human level This educational project is in one of the priorities of the Works project "Opening" whose priority is to promote the opening of the school to the other and the world.. |

| Report on the Results: | Special Day Monday, October 14, 2013 for French High School Jacques Prévert in Saly (Senegal). Within the framework of a scientific interdisciplinary educational project, a 10mn radio liaison with the International Space Station (ISS) was successfully established at 4:31 p.m..In front of more than 400 people, 20 primary and secondary pupils asked a question in English to Italian astronaut Luca Parmitano. The communication was broadcast live on large screens. This project was conducted in partnership with the Amateur Radio Association ADRASEC Senegal. |
