| Event Description: | How many of you would accept a one way ticket to Mars? How about an opportunity to work with the candidates of such a journey before & during their critical mission? Manifest Mars 2028 is an open space forum where arguments are weighed for and against methods proposed to achieve such a goal. A brief presentation will be made for such an endeavor in the year 2028, followed by a moderated discussion over cocktails at EVR Lounge, NYC. We will be joined by Nikolay Moiseev & Ted Southern of Final Frontier Desing, who will be demonstrating the use of their latest model spacesuit technology. We intend to bring about a better understanding of the viability of current Mars colonist proposals, and to take each opinion into consideration in the development of a road map for a fundamentally unique approach to the colonies of the 21st Century: P2P Colonies. FFD Builds on Nikolay's 20 years of experience working as a space suit designer at Zvezda, Russia's national spacesuit supplier. "Nik" has worked on both I.V.A & E.V.A. spacesuit technology, & his designs have flown in space since 1988. Ted adds his materials & fabrication experience from 10 years of special effects and costuming for entertainment & industry in NYC. Ted is the acting president of FFD & was the P.I. in their 2011 NASA contract.
