| Event Description: | The Grand Opening of WSW 2022 in Azerbaijan was held by Azercosmos on October 4, 2022, at 7 PM. Representatives of the academia, government officials, partners of Azercosmos in holding WSW 22 in Azerbaijan, media representatives and space enthusiasts were invited to the event at Tusi Bohm Planetarium. Event started with networking over image gallery where invitees got acquainted with the gallery of images of the Azersky Earth Observation satellite. Later the Chairman of Azercosmos greeted the guests, gave them information about WSW, WSW 22, events and activities to be happen this week, and told about the importance of Space, as well as the upcoming IAC 2022. Then all the event employees watched the Passport to the Universe movie in the Tusi Bohm Planetarium. |
