| Report on the Results: | National Space Agency of Malaysia (ANGKASA) has successfully organized World Space Week Program in middle Malaysia from 4 to 10 October 2013. This World Space Week Program is opened to public. The program hopes that it could raise public interest in the field of space science. During the week, all visitors at National Planetarium will have chance to visit small exhibition on Worldwide Mars simulation. Activities such as National Space Challenge (NSC), ISS Telecommunication, Teleconference to Mission Control Center and Coloring Contest for Kids were held at National Planetarium during this period. Approximately 700 people attended. All programs also get media coverage and publish in Malaysia news paper. The program has receive a good response from public in Malaysia and it will be held again in future to create public’s interest and involvement in the field of space science and understand the importance of space science in helping the nation socioeconomic development. |
