| Event Description: | Space Kidz India, an Indian Aerospace Startup renowned for its pioneering efforts in satellite design, fabrication, and launch. Over the past 7 years, we have launched 18+ NSLVs, 3 Suborbital Payloads, and 5 Orbital Satellites. Space Kidz India is now joining hands with SLIIT Northern University, Sri Lanka, for an exciting new satellite mission aimed at fostering international cooperation and empowering young minds in space technology. This event marks the official announcement of their collaboration, where India and Sri Lanka will work together to design, build, and launch a student-led satellite. Key Speakers at the event include Dr. Prafulla Kumar Jain, Director, IN-SPACe (Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Center), and Ms. Alma Okpalefe, Executive Director at the World Space Week Association. The event will feature presentations on mission objectives, the technology behind the satellite, and the collaborative roles of students and faculty from both the organizations. This project not only promotes educational growth but also strengthens cultural and scientific ties between India and Sri Lanka, inspiring the next generation of space innovators and demonstrating the power of cross-border teamwork in achieving scientific and technological breakthroughs. |
