| Event Description: | This event is part of the eTwinning project "Let’s Dive into the BLUE!". Students from the 1st Arsakeio Junior High School of Psychico will implement coding activities in the context of climate change and space. Students will create and remix Scratch programs to showcase in addressing one of the most pressing global challenges - climate change and impacts on the oceans. Each of the participating schools will add their students’ creations into a collaborative studio to create an international repository of Scratch projects under the theme “Protect our oceans”. The main learning objectives of the activity are to enhance students and teachers’ understanding of sea literacy and its significance in our life, encourage students to develop coding skills through Scratch, explore the practical applications of space technology, cultivate collaboration and cross-cultural teamwork, express creativity through coding and enhance digital literacy. |
