| Report on the Results: | The keynote lecture by Dr. Stern was very well attended; the lecture hall which seats 500 was completely full and there were about 30 people in an overflow room. The event was simulcast via the web and is archived (http://livestream.com/ualberta/eps-oct5-15); shortly after the event there were over 300 views. The event was featured on the CTV Edmonton evening news. Dr. Sallaberger's talk was well attended (60 people) and capped off an afternoon of talks by students and researchers from the University of Alberta (average attendance 30). |
