| Event Name: | The Secrets of space |
| Event Description: | The students from the 5th grade of the "Yuri Gagarin" High School in the Sanatorium health complex "Kamchiya" marked the International week of astronautics, which is currently going on. Today they had their "Astronomy" lesson in the Aeuronautical center with a Planetarium in the complex. The children learned a great deal about the movements of the planets, about the explorations of people, and their desire to get closer to the sky, in the unique for our country digital Planetarium. The fifth graders also visited the Museum of aviation and aeronautics, in which there are samples of the bulgarian space food, as well as the space greenhouse "Svet". They listened to the interesting seminar led by one of the three bulgarians, who have completed the entire astronaut training course - Krasimir Stoyanov. In the interactive analogue of the space capsule "Soyuz-TMA", the children also experienced part of what astronauts experience from the launch of the rocket until docking with the Orbital station. Since last week, a course in "Astronomy" and "Model rocketry" has been included in the extracurricular activities in the school. |
