Event Description:  Every day between 4th and 9th of October, our scientific research group consists of 7 students and 2 teachers between 3rd and 5th secondary school class invited the world to study the levels of light pollution in the city center. With the help of students and teachers, the public was able to count the stars in the night sky through a paper tube and calculate the final number of visible stars using basic geometry knowledge. Then, the students interviewed from the public wanting to identify the level of knowledge and awareness of public of light pollution, the impact on biodiversity and the importance of the stars in the city's night sky.

Report on the Results:  It is more than obvious that the vast majority of the world does not know about light pollution, despite all that, they are willing to help, support and promote new ideas and projects that can ameliorate the quality of life, with a strong emphasis on biodiversity of the place of and we are in the Amazon. In general terms, both teenagers and adults alike enjoyed the experience of counting the stars and participated with great desire.
