Students and the public worldwide are encouraged to launch rockets October 4-10 each year. Not only is this a great event for students and parents, it is very visual and perfect for media coverage. Students can help "launch" their exciting future n space. If you plan to launch one or more rockets during World Space Week, please add your launch event to the calendar. Rockets can be simply, cheaply, and safely launched. Examples include:
