Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed to help expand World Space Week. In addition to serving as event organizers and national or local coordinators, individuals can become World Space Week Association volunteers. 

World Space Week Association volunteers:

  • Work at the global level
  • Can be located anywhere in the world
  • Generally work around the year
  • Are not paid but get outstanding networking opportunities

Volunteer Openings

 

  1. Director - Poster -- Oversees development, promotion, and distribution of the annual World Space Week poster.  
  2. Director - Affiliate Relations – Serves as liaison with the global network of organizations who are World Space Week Association affiliates.
  3. Director - Development – Leads efforts to seek support for World Space Week Association and its programs.
  4. Director - Web Site – Implements upgrades to the World Space Week web site.
  5. Director - Youth Inspiration Project – Coordinates the Youth Inspiration Project, a global competition which flies students on a zero-G aircraft.
  6. Yuri’s Night-World Space Week Liaison – Facilitates cooperation between Yuri’s Night and World Space Week.
