World Space Week Association is proud to announce the winners of the World Space Week 2003 Educational Awards. Winners will be honored by Lance Bass at
our educational awards ceremony on April 13, 2004 at the California Science Center in Los Angeles.

Teacher Grant Winner
- Shelly Clark of Langston Magnet School in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Shelly's 5th grade students not only showed their appreciation of our
Solar System, but also made a video "Destinies Crossed". Shelly was a student of the Challenger's Astronaut, Christa McAuliffe when the shuttle was lost during takeoff. While
following the Columbia Space Shuttle with her students, little did she know that again she would relive another shuttle disaster. Through her strength and courage, Shelly helped comfort her 5th grade
class through a horrifying experience. Therefore, Shelly Clark, is dedicated to teach her students the importance of Space Exploration.

Angeles.
