World Space Week Theme

Each year, the World Space Week Association selects a theme for the upcoming World Space Week (WSW).  The theme for 2013, "Exploring Mars - Discovering Earth," will feature how exploring the Red Planet helps us understand ourselves and the world in which we live.

This year's theme is vividly illustrated on the WSW 2013 poster by space artist Pat Rawlings.

WSW event organizers are encouraged to incorporate the theme and poster into their activities and promotional materials. Further details about this year’s theme can be found here.  To see the history of World Space Week themes, please click here
