| Event Description: | October 8 7 - 10 p.m. The NASA Wallops Flight Facility Visitor Center and its partner the Delmarva Space Sciences Foundation will host a viewing event for International Observe the Moon Night (InOMN) on Saturday, October 8, from 7 - 10 p.m. The event begins with a Moon Mania presentation at the NASA Visitor Center’s Auditorium at 7:00 p.m. followed by moon and night sky observations through telescopes on the grounds of the Visitor Center from 7:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Moon-themed movies, hands-on activities and crafts also will be available. The event is free and open to the public. The Moon Mania presentation will take place regardless of weather; however, the telescope viewing is subject to cancellation due to inclement weather. |
