| Event Description: | Following on from the recent Rosetta mission, what is in a comet? See a live demonstration of a comet being made in a school. 6.30 -7.00. Afterwards there will be a more formal teaching session on comets and asteroids.This will run until 8.30. Given by award winning teacher 'Rocket' Rod Stevenson Free to attend. Follow the signs from Main reception. |

| Report on the Results: | We had a mixture of pupils and parents, some attend the GCSE Astronomy class, others had a interest in astronomy and space. We advertised the event via or web page and Twitter feeds. Ages ranged from 10 upwards. Event was videoed for inclusion on schools website at a later date. |
