| Event Description: | 7:30 pm Mr. Philippe Moreels, Head of Strategy and Business Development, Astroscale Pte Ltd., will discuss the implications of increased use of outer space. The presence of both large and small pieces of "space junk" is becoming more of a hazard as we launch more satellites. Debris moving at 20,000 km/h can pose a threat to satellites that provide GPS for our phones, monitor weather, and serve other critical functions. Mr. Moreels will share Astroscale's approach to addressing this issue. |
