| Event Description: | 8:30 pm What does it take to build a successful, challenging, and rewarding career in aerospace? After decades of stagnation the aerospace industry is currently undergoing a renaissance. In this fluid environment flexibility, curiosity, and a willingness to take risks are key ingredients to building a successful career. In this talk, I’ll discuss my own (circuitous) career path, and my advice for aspiring aerospace engineers. Ms. Emma Lehman leads the Flight Operations team at Google in Mountain View, California. Google operates the world’s largest commercial fleet of high resolution Earth-Imaging satellites though their organization Terra Bella (formerly Skybox Imaging). |
