| Report on the Results: | The Oklahoma Space Alliance chapter of the National Space Society showed short videos of several recent launches (and the SpaceX test-pad fire). The main event was Elon Musk's video summary of his plan to send about 100 people to live on Mars. Then we discussed the group's plan to attend NSS's International Space Development Conference in St. Louis next year with an exhibit showing Oklahoma's space-related institutions and activities. Unfortunately, this Oklahoma event conflicted with a major university football game held in Dallas, Texas. However, a 5th person arrived after the game was over and joined us for the rest of the afternoon. |
