| Event Description: | It is International Observe the Moon Night and SCI is having a Star Party! Come observe the grandeur that is our moon! We will also get to see Saturn, Mars, and possibly Neptune! Join SCI staff at Ewing Park and observe the Moon, planets and other celestial objects! SCI staff will set up several telescopes for you to use. This event is free to the public. This event is in partnership with City of Des Moines Parks and Recreation and the Des Moines Astronomical Society (DMAS). |
