| Event Name: | 7th Polish-Wide Conference of Contributors & Sympathizers in ARISS |
| Event Description: | Amateur radio, known also as HAM radio is a hobby, good fun, sport, alternative of spending free time, bringing together science and technology, non-profit emergency communications, field trips and active life. ARISS program is implemented by partners from the space agencies:-National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA),-Russian Federal Space Agency - Roscosmos (RKA),-European Space Agency (ESA),-National Centre for Space Studies (CNES),-Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA),-Canadian Space Agency (CSA),within the cooperation with The Radio Amateur Satellite Corporation (AMSAT) and with the IARU organizations (Member Societies) from participating countries, including the Polish Amateur Radio Union (PZK) from Poland. The purpose of the conference is to get attention of the community of students, teachers and principals on the ARISS program. It is also to inform that each school may join this program and participate in it after meeting the relevant requirements. This conference aims at exchanging experiences between the participants having the ARISS contact already done and those who are in process of project implementation. It is also an excellent opportunity to summarize all of previous 16 ARISS contacts from Poland. All people interested in cosmos and technologies used in a space exploration are welcomed. We are looking forward to school principals, teachers and students. This conference is a perfect time to establish some contacts and future cooperation between radio amateurs and school. |
